The Utah Farm Bureau Federation held its 109th annual convention last week in Provo and the event culminated in a Gala Agriculture Banquet where an influential Uintah Basin citizen was recognized. Representative Scott Chew was presented with the Distinguished Service Award. Representative Chew began his legislative service in 2015 but has been an active member of the agricultural community his entire life. He currently represents Utah’s House District 68 which consists of Duchesne, Uintah, and Daggett counties. Representative Chew is the Owner/Operator of Chew Ranch/Chew Livestock Family Co-op. He was appointed by the Governor to the Agriculture, Natural & Recreational Lands Team and was also on the Farm Service Committee for 9 years. Congratulations to Scott Chew on his well deserved Dist
