Cody George Manyshots has completed his sentence and plans to live in Siksika

Gleichen RCMP are issuing a public safety warning following the release of the high-risk offender Cody George Manyshots on Monday, upon completing his federal sentence and plans to live at the Siksika Nation.

In 2014, Manyshots and his brother, Corey George Manyshots, pleaded guilty to kidnapping and repeatedly raping a 17-year-old high school girl in a Taradale alley and later in their Martindale home over an eight-hour period, after she was dropped off at a bus stop late at night.

A year later, they both pleaded guilty to sexual assault causing bodily harm, kidnapping, robbery, and uttering death threats.
