A Stephens City man associated with Mexican-American street gang Sureno 13 will serve 20 years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine and illegally possessing firearms.

Hector Manuel Espinosa, 37, was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Harrisonburg to 240 months in prison. Espinosa was convicted of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon following a jury trial in November 2024. Upon release, he must serve five years of supervision.
