ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The Cheatham County School District has released an update on the investigation of a reported threat on Monday.
The district reports that all students at Harpeth High School are safe, and no credible threat has been found.
“Law enforcement identified a person of interest from out of state and the investigation is ongoing with multiple jurisdictions,” CCSD said.
“We take all threats seriously. If students, parents or community members know of an unsafe situation in one of our schools, they can pass on that information to school officials by sending an e-mail to our tip line. Our school safety email address is tip@ccstn.org.”
