CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - One person was ejected and flown to a Nashville hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Clarksville on Monday afternoon.

CPD reports that officers are on the scene of the crash with injuries on Ashland City Road near Gatlin Street.

Traffic has been diverted onto Edmondson Ferry Road since the crash occurred at about 4:17 p.m.

“One individual was ejected from a vehicle and is being transported to Nashville via Life Flight helicopter. Their condition is currently unknown. The extent of injuries to others involved is also unknown at this time,” CPD shared.

Police urge travelers to seek an alternate route until the roadway is cleared.
