GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A man accused of shooting and killing his father appeared in Calumet County Court Monday to face a homicide charge.

Ethan Graverson is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide, with a Domestic Abuse modifier added to the charge.

According to court documents, the shooting happened last Friday afternoon. The criminal complaint said Graverson and his father got into an argument.

The complaint said before the argument, Graverson told authorities he went to the garage, retrieved a gun, put it in his right jacket pocket, and brought it into the house.

When asked why he grabbed the gun, the complaint records Graverson saying he realized his father was a “monster.” He said there was tension between him and his father over the years, including issues with his fath
