TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
CF Montréal have signed homegrown center back Félix Samson to a first-team contract, the club announced Monday.
The 28th homegrown signing in CFMTL history, Samson agreed to a deal that lasts through the 2028 MLS season with options for 2029 and 2030.
The 18-year-old Canadian youth international joined Montréal's academy in August 2023 from New York City FC 's MLS NEXT Pro affilliate, New York City FC II. As part of the move, the club acquired Samson’s homegrown rights from NYCFC.
A 2024 MLS NEXT Pro All-Star selection, Samson received his first call-up to Canada's U-18 side in August.
