HOLLAND, Mich. — A 48-year-old Holland man is facing seven felony charges for allegedly defrauding a victim and failing to pay taxes on more than $1.1 million that he earned from unlicensed marijuana sales, according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Shaun Michael Brown has been charged with one count of False Pretenses, which carries a fine of at least $50,000 but no more than $100,000 as well as being a 15-year felony. He also faces six counts of Taxes-Failure to File/False Return, each of those six counts is a five-year felony.
