WOODRUFF, S.C. —

The Woodruff Police Department said a tanning salon owner was arrested on multiple counts of assault and battery.

According to the police chief, officers arrested David Harman on Monday.

The chief said the charges are connected to four separate altercations with a now former employee at Sun Quest Tanning on South Main Street.

Police said the former employee reported she was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions while employed at Sun Quest Tanning.

Officers said while securing surveillance video from inside the business, investigators also found several firearms and various drugs.

Authorities said they will also seek additional charges against Harman of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics, posse
