HOLLAND, MI -- A 48-year-old Holland man is accused of failing to pay taxes on $1.1 million in unlicensed marijuana sales.

Michigan Attorney General staff on Monday, Nov. 24 said that Shaun Michael Brown faces charges of failure to file taxes/filing a false return as well as false pretenses from $50,000-$100,000.

Prosecutors said Brown sold a person a 2021 Chevy Corvette for $95,000, but never provided a valid title.

They also allege he never paid income or sales taxes from 2020 through 2022 on more than $1.1 million that he earned from unlicensed marijuana sales.
