The East Providence High School varsity football squad will head to La Salle on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. for their 96th annual Thanksgiving Day rivalry game.
Both the Townies and the Rams come into the game after recording a 6-4 record during their regular seasons in Division II and Division I respectively, and both are coming into the game following losses in the championship tournament, with the Townies falling to South Kingstown 21-13 in the Division II semifinals, and the Rams losing their third straight Division I championship bout against reigning state champs, Bishop Hendricken, on Friday night at Cranston Stadium.
