KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police swarmed Kansas City’s riverfront after a major sideshow over the weekend along Front Street under the I-35 bridge near CPKC Stadium.

Scout camera video posted to social media shows the moment chaos erupted as people scattered when police responded to the scene Friday night.

Heather Ladish was on her way to a nearby casino with her friend when they found themselves in the middle of the sideshow that was forming.

“All I could think of is I want to get out of here now,” Ladish said.

Ladish said 40 to 50 cars were parked at the location, and some people were on foot just waiting for the sideshow to begin.

“All these people parked, it’s like a parking lot, and they all have their faces covered,” she said.
