BASEHOR, Kan. (KCTV) - A man faces attempted capital murder charges after he fired several shots at deputies during a high-speed chase.
Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson says Andrew Amundsen, 33, of Leavenworth, and Mariah Huggins, 29, of Kansas City, Kansas, were charged on Monday, Nov. 24.
The charges come after a Nov. 21 incident that sent one deputy to the hospital after he crashed his patrol car.
