COLUMBUS, Ohio — An after-hours club on the northeast side has been shut down after Franklin County prosecutors said it operated for months without a liquor license and generated dozens of police calls.
According to Franklin County Prosecutor Shayla Favor’s office, Kaze Lounge at 3192 Westerville Rd. was the subject of several complaints and investigations by multiple law enforcement agencies.
“They basically opened up a club without going through any of the proper permitting. And so, but right there, that's obviously a huge violation of state law,” said Sarah Pomeroy, deputy director of nuisance abatement for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.
