BALTIMORE —
Smiles, screams and excitement filled the gym at Mother Mary Lange Catholic School on Monday after the Grinch surprised students with a visit.
"I was surprised," said Brayden, a third-grade student at the school.
"I thought that Max was going to come," said Quinn, a first-grade student who was hoping the Grinch's pet dog would also make an appearance.
The visit came just days before "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical" kicks off at the Hippodrome Theatre.
During his visit, the Grinch interacted with students, answered their questions, read to them and even joined them for a dance party.
"I thought he was the real Grinch," said Ethan, a student.
Lynnea Cornish, the school's principal, said she's grateful to provide this kind of opportunity for the stud
