MONROE, La. (KNOE) - As the holiday season kicks off, LifeShare and the Monroe Moccasins are making kids’ dreams come true.

LifeShare and the Moccasins joined together at the Monroe Civic Center to host a toy drive. The event is to donate new toys to help make the holidays special for kids. Organizers said people also had the opportunity to meet their favorite Moccasins players.

The host of “Toys for Tots” said she wants to strengthen the community and bring positivity to families in need. She said the requests for toys has doubled compared to previous years.
