SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The wife of an Uber driver killed in a shooting last week said she is still struggling to accept her husband’s death as police continue searching for a third suspect.

Fredrick Kiprono was driving passengers on Clyde Fant Parkway on Friday, Nov. 21 when another vehicle opened fire on his car, killing him and one passenger. A second passenger survived with gunshot wounds.

“They came to the door, and they told me my husband was gone,” Patricia Kiprono said.

Patricia described her husband as a loving man who was always willing to help others. The couple had been married for six years.

“We was going to spend a lifetime. Who would have known a lifetime would only be six years?” she said.
