GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - According to the USDA, 2025 overall food prices are anticipated to rise faster than the historical average rate of growth, with a predicted increase of 3%.
Many feel the rising prices with typical grocery shopping trips.
“I think everything in general is a little bit higher,” Jeremy Mehesan said.
Thanksgiving is a time for families to get together, give thanks, and share a meal.
But the Department of Agriculture says grocery prices are up 2.7% this year, meaning budget is top of mind for consumers.
Shoppers at Woodman’s say their Thanksgiving staples will all be making an appearance they’ll just be smaller versions.
