TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A new face is shaking up the race for Florida governor.
Republican investor James Fishback has officially entered the 2026 race.
He’s promising a bold affordability platform focused on housing costs, wages and immigration.
“I’m running for Florida Governor to make life more affordable for you and your family,” says Fishback . “Hardworking Floridians should be able to buy a home, raise a family, and retire with dignity.”
Fishback positions himself as a conservative outsider, pledging to make life more affordable for Floridians.
His affordability platform includes stopping the “replacement of American workers with H-1B foreigners, so Floridians can get great-paying jobs again,” and abolishing property taxes.
