LANSING, Iowa — Travelers in Lansing should take note of changes to the car ferry service at the Black Hawk Bridge later this week.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the ferry will operate on a shorter 12-hour schedule on Thursday and Friday, instead of the usual 16 hours.
The first ferry will depart from Wisconsin at 7 a.m. Service will conclude at 7 p.m., with the last ferry leaving Lansing at 6:45 p.m.
Regular operating hours will resume on Saturday.
