OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Every holiday season, The Paine Art Center and Gardens transform into a giant storybook telling the Tale of the Nutcracker.
Rooms inside are decorated with more than 80 Christmas trees and holiday decor.
The Paine offers three ways to enjoy the fairytale.
Self-guided tours allow visitors to read at their own pace.
Candlelight tours are lit only by the glow of the Christmas trees, and guided tours bring the story to life even more with live acting, music, and dance performances.
After nearly two decades, the event has become a tradition for so many families.
“Some people have been coming for 19 years. Other people, they came as a child, and now they’re an adult, and they’re bringing their children, and it’s just a wonderful way to experience the holiday,” Noell
