BETHEL, Ohio —
One person has died after a crash along a busy road in Clermont County on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12:10 p.m. on State Route 125, near Crane Schoolhouse Road, just outside of Bethel. Advertisement
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was traveling west on SR 125, when he struck a van attempting to turn north onto Macedonia Road.
Both vehicles went off the side of the road, and the motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the van had minor injuries.
On Monday night, OSHP identified the motorcyclist as Brady Mentz, 20.
Multiple neighbors witnessed the aftermath of the crash. Kris Fogwell has lived on Macedonia Road for roughly three decades. He was driving home when he stumbled on the tragedy.
