College football: Clutch plays send Susquehanna past Washington & Jefferson

SELINSGROVE — Xavier Maple and Kayvon Waters were in the right place at the right time.

Both Susquehanna defensive backs made huge plays to help the River Hawks post a 38-32 win over Washington & Jefferson in the opening round of the NCAA Division III football playoffs Saturday at Doug Arthur Stadium.
