WKAR offering ‘seasonal sampler’ holiday music stream

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -WKAR Radio is helping Mid-Michigan get into a holiday mood.

The East Lansing radio station launched a new online classical holiday music channel. It’s called “Seasonal Sampler” and includes music from Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more.

Every hour, the program hosts will also feature Michigan ensembles.

“So we have partnerships with groups all across the state, locally with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, The Choral Ensemble, Arts Chorale of Greater Lansing and the MSU College of Music of course. And so we are taking advantage of that partnership we have to bring Michigan performances whenever we can and this is another opportunity to do so,” said WKAR Program Director Jamie Paisley.
