LANCASTER, Mass. —
One Massachusetts family farm expects to sell thousands of fresh turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving this week.
Claudia Stewart drives an hour from Boston to Bob's Turkey Farm in Lancaster every year.
"I've been doing that for, I think, the last three years," she said.
Bob's Turkey Farm has been in business since 1954. This family-operated farm emphasizes sustainable farming methods and is a regional favorite, especially when holiday turkey demand spikes. They sell about 6,000 turkeys every Thanksgiving.
"We have no preservatives, no antibiotics. It is just a well-crafted 71-year process that's got us to a bird that we're really proud of," said Marketing manager Jennifer Brezniak.
"It is so fresh. It really is the best turkey I've ever had," said customer Vera Admore-Sak
