CLEVELAND, Ohio – Tucked in a back wall near the pizza bar of Flour’s new space is an artistic sign scrawled in graffiti-dripping paint: “Il cibo e’un linguaggio d’amore.”

Food is a language of love.

And that’s what Matt Mytro is aiming to get across with his westward expansion of Flour, which opens Tuesday, Nov. 25. He also has the same message in Flour’s original location in Moreland Hills, which remains open. That restaurant opened in 2011.

Now, he is planting a flag on the west side in Valor Acres, a massive mixed-use residential and business district developed by DiGeronimo Companies . It’s on the site of the former U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospital campus and right off Interstate 77 at the northwest corner of Brecksville and Miller roads. It’s close to Sherwin-William
