ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The annual Holiday Walk is set to transform the heart of Rocky River into a winter wonderland Dec. 6, bringing festive cheer and family-friendly activities to the community.

The city invites residents and visitors alike to stroll through downtown’s locally owned shops while enjoying an array of seasonal entertainment.

From horse-drawn carriage rides to circus acts and carolers, the event promises something for everyone in the family.

The festivities kick off at 11:15 a.m. with a special parade celebrating Santa’s arrival.

The holiday procession -- featuring merchants, musicians and marchers -- will begin at Rocky River Methodist Church, 19414 Detroit Road, and travel east to Old Detroit Road.

It will culminate in Santa’s first appearance of the season in downtown
