KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A short week of preparation for a Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys means the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t practice Monday.
It does mean the team still provided an injury report, though statuses for players are just estimations of what would’ve happened if the team had practiced.
Chiefs tight end Noah Gray (concussion) and right guard Trey Smith (ankle) were each listed as DNPs after both suffered injuries in Sunday’s 23-20 overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts that caused them to leave the game and not return.
Smith is expected to miss additional time as he deals with high and low ankle sprains, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
