EAST AURORA, N.Y. — The overnight parking ban in East Aurora is now in effect due to snow in the near forecast, the village announced on social media.
The East Aurora Police Department said in a post on social media that due to low temperatures and the possibility of Lake Effect snow hitting the village on Thanksgiving, the overnight parking ban is back in effect.

The department said that vehicles parked on the road will be handed warning tickets until Wednesday, and official tickets will be given starting Thursday. The ban prohibits cars and other vehicles from being parked on village roads from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
