A heating expert has pointed out a straightforward way to reduce your energy costs. John Klee, heating and technology expert at heating appliance supplier BestHeating, emphasised the importance of both timing and temperature settings when setting your heating.
This advice follows a recent survey by the company, which found that 32 per cent of households across the UK have disputes over when to switch the heating on. When temperatures drop, it might seem sensible to have your radiators running at maximum capacity for much of the day, but this could unnecessarily add to your energy bills.
