PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — The state has suspended a Pierce County substance use disorder provider's license over allegations of sexual misconduct.
While he was CEO of Rainier Recovery Centers, Jeremiah Dunlap made sexually inappropriate remarks to employees, permitted substance use professionals to work unsupervised, changed patient records, retaliated against employees who refused to alter records, and provided care that led to a patient's death, the state alleges.
Dunlap is prohibited from practicing as a substance use disorder treatment provider in Washington. He has 20 days to request a hearing to contest charges.
The issues at Rainier Recovery, including Dunlap's relationship with a local attorney , was the center of a KING 5 investigation earlier this year .
