HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A system for the middle of this week is expected to (initially) bring rain, then wind to the area after the rain. This rain could make for some slick travel on the roads on Tuesday, especially in the morning, as travelers are out for Thanksgiving. By Wednesday, most of the precipitation should exit the region; however, winds during the afternoon should gust up to 40 mph, especially north of I-64 and west of I-79.

Behind this front, much cooler conditions are expected for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Highs are expected to reach into the upper 30s and lower 40s, with overnight lows expected to reach into the upper 20s and lower 30s. While no precipitation is to be expected, it will be a chilly start to both Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
