EUGENE, Ore. - A customer at a 7-Eleven store faced a terrifying ordeal when two employees held him at gunpoint on Sunday morning.
Akashdeep, whose last name is listed only as 'XX' in Lane County Jail records, was arrested and charged with menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. He allegedly racked a shotgun while trying to prevent the customer from leaving the store.
Eugene police reported that the victim arrived at the store on West 13th Avenue around 1 a.m. on Sunday and purchased an item. After paying, the customer put the item in his pocket and returned to the refrigerated section to select a drink. However, he changed his mind and decided to leave.
