HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A tornadic storm caused widespread and significant damage and power outages throughout northwest Harris County, officials say.
ABC13 was on the ground when neighbors were working to clean up tree limbs and debris that riddled the streets of the Klein area.
"We didn't see too much of it," explained Ron Manson. "Just happened so fast. The furniture in the back was swirling around and banging our glass windows."
Officials and residents reported damaged roofs, broken windows, and power outages. Images shared to ABC13 showed the damage the tornadic storm caused to neighborhoods.
"It could have been a lot worse. I'm looking at the positives, but this was totally unexpected," Miriam Harris said.
About 100 homes were damaged, according to the Harris County Prec
