Justin Tucker may find himself back in the NFL sooner rather than later.
On Monday, New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore confirmed that Tucker will be brought in for a tryout with the team, which would be his first since he was suspended for the first 10 weeks of the NFL season for violating the leagues personal conduct policy.
Tucker, 36, spent the first 13 seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens but was released by the team in May.
The decision to bring Tucker in for a tryout comes after Saints kicker Blake Grupe missed two field goals in a 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
"We're bringing in some guys, it's the first time we've brought in guys this year," Moore said in a news conference on Monday. "We'll evaluate those guys with our current roster
