FISHERS, Ind. — A pair of Hoosiers were among four players selected by the Indy Ignite in Monday's Major League Volleyball draft.
The Ignite used their first-round pick to choose Cara Cresse, a middle blocker who graduated from Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian before attending the University of Louisville. The team used its second-round selection on University of Texas libero Emma Halter, an Indianapolis native who played at Roncalli High School.
Indy picked two outside hitters in the fourth round — Taylor Landfair from Nebraska and Emoni Bush from Oklahoma.
"The draft could not have gone any better for us," said Indy Ignite head coach Lauren Bertolacci. "We were able to get all the players we wanted and we are sure they will add value both on the court and off the court as they are all
