NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - For the first time since construction of the Music City Loop started, the Boring Company held a virtual public question-and-answer session on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Nashvillians and Tennesseans alike got the chance to get their questions about the underground tunnel project answered straight from the Boring Company President and CEO, Steve Davis.

Davis first started by explaining why the tunnel for Teslas instead of a train or bus.

He explained that rails and subways cost a lot more and create more of a risk.

“Except for like major events, stadium events, the chances that 40 or 50 people are going to the exact same place at the exact same time are low, so it has to be a point to be and has to be small vehicles,” Davis said.
