Two teenage boys were charged with murder in a Loop stabbing that left a man dead, police announced Monday.
The boys, 14 and 16, were both charged with a felony count of first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a man in the 200 block of South Wabash on Sunday around 7:20 a.m., according to Chicago police.
The man was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a “puncture wound” to his body.
The older boy was also charged with a felony count of mob action. Another 14-year-old boy was charged with felony armed robbery and Samuel Alvarado Moreno, 23, was charged with a felony count of criminal damage to property.
All four are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday. They were arrested around 4 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of South Western Avenue.
