MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The Pentagon is investigating Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, one of six Democratic lawmakers featured in a video telling troops to defy illegal orders .

The video, posted last week, drew criticism from President Donald Trump .

In a statement released Monday, the Pentagon cited a federal law that allows retired service members to be recalled to active duty for possible court-martial if ordered by the defense secretary.

Since Kelly is a retired Navy captain, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said he is the only person in the video subject to that law.

The Pentagon is reviewing whether Kelly's statements interfered with the "loyalty, morale, or good order and discipline of the armed forces."
