GREEN BAY — Afterward, Aaron Jones made his way across the Lambeau Field turf, looking for one person in particular.

The Green Bay Packers-turned-Minnesota Vikings running back had already reconnected with many of his former coaches and teammates, speaking with a number of them before the game, reminiscing about his seven seasons in green-and-gold.

He’d caught up with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, who still sees Jones as one of his all-time favorite players, and running backs coach Ben Sirmans, who’d helped develop Jones from a little-known fifth-round draft pick into the third-leading rusher in the Packers’ storied history — Jones’ 5,940 career yards ranking behind only Ahman Green (8,322) and Jim Taylor (8,207).
