MURRAY – The Murray Police Department said Monday that officers are still attempting to locate the suspects responsible for an alleged weekend assault at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house off Murray State University’s campus.
After emailing a Timely Warning alert to the campus community on Saturday, Murray State released some information about the incident on Sunday, but the Ledger & Times was unable to reach MPD for additional comment. According to a Monday news release from MPD, officers responded to the Pike house around 12:57 a.m. Saturday in response to a fight that involved a firearm. Upon arrival, officers observed an individual with injuries who was transported to the hospital.
