Macaulay Culkin wants to make sure everyone remembers what his legal name is now.

The 45-year-old actor addressed it during a 35th anniversary celebration of Home Alone at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, Calif. on Saturday (November 22).

“My name is Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin ,” he reminded everyone, per People .

In 2018, Macaulay went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where a poll was announced to change his middle name. Some of the other options were “The McRib is Back” and “Kieran,” but ultimately people voted for him to change his middle name to “Macaulay Culkin.”

Kieran Culkin is his brother’s name, so he jokes that would have been have been “great” too.

He made the change official in 2019.
