Everything you need to know as Celtic close in on the appointment of the Columbus Crew boss

Columbus Crew manager Wilfried Nancy is on the brink of being announced as Celtic manager. Record Sport and talks with the MLS club have taken their time, but it's now a case of when rather than if.

He's expected to be announced this week and could attend their next Premiership game with Hibs at Easter Road on Sunday November 30. Martin O'Neill is expected to remain in charge against Feyenoord and Hibs, before Nancy takes over for the clash with Dundee on December 3.

Frenchman Nancy has long been Dermot Desmond's favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers. He's won 71 of his 136 matches in charge of the MLS side and it's believed he could be an Ange Postecoglou-esque appointme
