Dougie Imrie has agreed a deal to become the Raith Rovers manager. ‌

Record Sport broke the story on Monday that the Kirkcaldy side had been granted permission to speak to the Morton boss. ‌

The Championship rivals have now agreed a compensation package and the 42-year-old is expected to be unveiled as the new Rovers chief later today. ‌

Imrie held positive talks with Rovers last night and will move to Starks Park on a two-and-a-half year deal.

He will be reunited with his former No. 2, Andy Millen, in Fife. Millen is Imrie’s long-running right-hand man although that partnership came to an end in May when Morton refused to renew his contract.
