CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- The Chagrin Falls Police Department is collecting donations for its “Shop with a Cop” fundraiser until December 1st.

Checks for the annual holiday fundraiser can be made out to the John Murtaugh Benevolent Fund, which can be either dropped off or mailed to the CFPD at 21 W. Washington St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.

Donors to “Shop with a Cop” will receive a receipt for their contribution.

At the beginning of December, police officers and other volunteers will arrive at the Bainbridge Walmart in a caravan of police cars to shop with kids for their individual and families’ needs.

According to Chagrin Falls Police Chief Amber Dacek, the department usually helps 4-5 families during “Shop with a Cop.”
