CANTON − Bob Mohr, a local athlete, Marine veteran and business owner, will take on an endurance challenge Thanksgiving weekend, running for 24 hours straight on a treadmill to benefit the Domestic Violence Project.
The event, “ Bob Mohr 24-Hour Run-A-Thon ,” begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Kempthorn Auto Campus at 155 Cleveland Ave. NW.
The public is welcome to visit the showroom to show support for Mohr and survivors of domestic violence.
A sobriety advocate, the decorated Marine veteran completed 38 marathons, started over 28 100-mile races completing 17, and committed to running 22 miles a day for 22 days honoring the 22 veterans lost daily to suicide. Running has become a cornerstone of his sobriety journey.
