The Soldiers & Sailors Monument will once again become a Christmas tree to launch the holiday season. Circle of Lights, presented by IBEW Local 481, will take place the day after Thanksgiving for the 63rd year of the Indianapolis tradition.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 481 assembles the lights and decorations. Adorning the monument will be 52 strands of garland and 4,784 multi-colored lights. Also on Monument Circle will be 26 large toy soldiers and sailors and 26 candy canes.
