Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and organizations and other Christmas decorations fill Slack Plaza and Brawley Walkway between Summers and Capitol streets.

The Downtown Charleston Association , which puts on the event, is expecting 30,000 to 40,000 visitors to downtown over the two-day festival.

Morgan Morrison, vice president of the DCA, said her proudest accomplishment with the event is seeing the DCA's vision of a holiday festival come to life.
