BAZETTA TWP., Ohio - A Warren woman pled guilty on Monday to a deadly OVI crash in Bazetta Township from last year.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 36-year-old Britni Ulam pled guilty to a felony charge of aggravated vehicular homicide and a misdemeanor charge of OVI.
The charges stem from a crash on State Route 46 in Bazetta that claimed the life of 31-year-old Frank Walter in November of 2024.
Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Ulam failed to navigate a curve, veered off the road and struck a ditch and culvert before rolling over several times. Both Ulam and Walter were thrown from the vehicle.
Troopers say Ulam's blood alcohol level was .339, which is more than four times the legal limit.
