The Scarlet Knights (5-6, 2-6) host Penn State (5-6, 2-6) on Saturday for a do-or-die regular season finale in which the winner earns a bowl bid and the loser sees its season come to an end.

Rutgers is seeking its third consecutive postgame appearance, but the bigger prize is beating the Nittany Lions for the third time in program history, snapping a 17-game losing streak across the last 37 years and earning the kind of signature win in a huge spot that has eluded Schiano and company since his return to Piscataway five years ago.
